During the writing the work the general theoretical and methodological bases for research of psychological features of professional self-determination of students of technical and humanitarian directions of preparation are defined, the complex of methods adequate to their purposes of research is selected, psychological conditions of formation of professional motivation, awareness of career expectations, values are diagnosed and analyzed correspondence of the chosen specialty of training to directions of interests and professional typeУ роботі аналізується проблема вивчення професійних очікувань студентів, а також психологічні особливості молодої людини як суб’єкта навчання та фактори, які впливають на вибір молоддю спеціальності й майбутньої професії в процесі їх навчання в ЗВО.
