During the writing of the work the general theoretical and methodological bases for research of emotional intelligence of students-psychologists depending on a profile of training were defined, the complex of methods adequate to the purposes of research is selected, the level of emotional intelligence and its components at students-psychologists is diagnosed and analyzed.
