The psychological dominants of Internet communication are determined, the concept of Internet addiction and its main characteristics and features of Internet communication of adolescents in social networks in the gender aspect are singled out. Based on the theoretical material, an empirical study of the gender aspect of the relationship between the intensity of communication in social networks and Internet addiction of adolescents and develops a number of practical recommendations on the problems of adolescent Internet addiction.У роботі досліджуються теоретичні та практичні аспекти гендерного аспекту зв’язку інтенсивності спілкування у соціальних мережах та інтернет- залежності підлітків. Визначаються психологічні домінанти інтернет- комунікації, виокремлюється поняття інтернет-залежності та її основні характеристики та особливості інтернет-спілкування підлітків у соціальних мережах в гендерному аспекті.
