During the writing of the work, the general theoretical and methodological principles of the problem of the influence of family upbringing on the development of the child's personality were determined. For the empirical study, a hypothesis was identified that states that there is a relationship between the types of parenting and the type of character accentuations. Also, a set of methods was selected for the empirical part, primary and secondary data processing were performed, and correlations confirming this hypothesis were analyzed.У роботі аналізується функціональність та дисфункціональність сім’ї, стилі порушених сімейних відносин, та опис акцентуацій характеру дитини. Під час написання роботи було визначено загальні теоретико-методологічні засади проблеми впливу сімейного виховання на розвиток особистості дитини. Для емпіричного дослідження було виявлено гіпотезу, яка зазначає, існує взаємозв'язок між типами батьківського виховання і типом акцентуацій характеру.
