In this research, we have studied the trends in the global pipe market, the dynamics of manufacturing and exports of pipe products in Ukrainian enterprises. We have identified the main macroeconomic factors affecting pipe industry, which are the demand for pipe products, political decisions, the exchange rates, protectionist measures, world prices for pipe products, price competition coming from lowcost countries. With the use of the PEST method, we have identified macroeconomic factors that affect the production and exports of pipes by Ukrainian enterprises. Macroeconomic factors that led to a decrease in pipe exports from Ukraine in the first half of 2019 are the following: temporary protective measures on imports of steel products into the EU adopted in 2018, the decision of the European Commission to extend the antidumping duties on imports of seamless pipes from Ukraine for five years, the introduction by Russia in 2019 a ban on the import of certain types of pipes from Ukraine, in particular for oil pipelines.enpipe industrypipe marketproducer price indexpipe exportsimport restrictionsThe impact of the global macroeconomic factors on the pipe industry in the modern globalized economyArticle
