A comparative analysis of the definition of the nature and structure of aggression in domestic and foreign literature has been made. Peculiarities of formation and manifestations of teenage aggression are defined. An empirical study of the manifestation of adolescent aggressiveness was carried out and the main ways of preventing and correcting aggressive behavior were determined.The directions of preventive and corrective work of a psychologist with aggressive teenagers have been determined. A system of psychological and pedagogical conditions for the optimization of socio- psychological prevention and correction of aggressive behavior has been reasonably developedДосліджено агресивність та агресивну поведінку підлітків як соціально- психологічний феномен. Виконано порівняльний аналіз визначення природи і структури агресії у вітчизняній та зарубіжній літературі. Окреслено особливості формування та прояву підліткової агресії. Здійснено емпіричне дослідження прояву агресивності підлітків та визначено основні шляхи профілактики та корекції агресивної поведінки. Визначено напрямки профілактичної та корекційної роботи психолога із агресивними підлітками.
