Анотація
Article is devoted to research of process of formation faustian cultures at the initial stages of its progress. The concept is put in a basis of research the faustian cultures, the offered by O. Shpengler in work The decline of the Europe, and Christopher Marlowe’s play The tragical history of Doctor Faustus, written on the basis of a national legend and representing the initial stage of development of an faustian archetype. The basic characteristics of faustian showers are allocated – will to break in boundless, concluding idea of transformation of space; eternal knowledge as will to authority and melancholy on the past (indissolubility of tradition). Preconditions of crisis of humanistic outlook and a specific character of its reflection in Marlowe’s tragedy are defined. Vectors of is art-aesthetic judgement of an faustian subject matters in Marlowe’s work, which represent poethological constants of an faustian archetype structure are allocated. The specific character of an image of Faust in Marlowe’s tragedies, its key characteristics among which it is allocated catastrophism as the factor of declining of faustian consciousnesses is analyzed.
