    DEVELOPMENT AND WAYS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT PROJECT “UKRAINIAN RESTAURANT IN CANADA”

    The paper examines the state of the economy of Canada and economic trends over the past fifteen years. Canada is one of the most economically developed countries in the world, since industry has been effectively developing in the country, transport routes within the country have been established, and there are also large reserves of minerals, which is also important in modern realities. Ukrainians are Canada's seventh national minority, accounting for almost 4% of the country's total population. Also, the Ukrainian diaspora has a great political and economic weight in Canada, due to which this country is becoming more and more attractive for Ukrainian investors every year. In particular, it applies to people interested in opening restaurants, due to the dynamic growth and popularization of Ukrainian cuisine in the world, thanks to numerous competitions and the developed level of restaurant business. In the work, an analysis of the public catering market in Toronto has been carried out, thanks to which the concept of a modern investment project for the opening of a Ukrainian cuisine establishment has been provided. Such a project could be popular among both Canadians and Ukrainians. The work analyzes and evaluates the financial part of opening a restaurant, calculates possible income, foresees expenses and calculates the approximate payback period. Thanks to the data taken, it is possible to assess how favorable this project will be in terms of opening a small business in Canada and whether it will be of interest to modern investors.

    International experience of hotel business development and its significance for Ukraine

    This paper investigates the international development of the hotel business and its implications for Ukraine. It examines global trends in the hotel industry, including the growth of international hotel chains, their impact on economies and how these can be adapted to the Ukrainian context. The state of the hotel industry in Ukraine is also analyzed. The study identifies international best practices and assesses their applicability to Ukraine. Using a mixed-methods approach, it offers insights into the integration of global best practices into Ukraine's hotel industry. The research finds that Ukraine's hotel business, while facing challenges, has significant potential for growth by adopting international strategies, mainly they are made for implementing these practices in Ukraine to enhance its economic development and tourism competitiveness. Recommendations focus on implementing digital innovations, adopting sustainable practices, enhancing staff training, and advocating for supportive government policies. The thesis contributes valuable insights for stakeholders in Ukraine's hotel industry and offers a foundation for future research in this area
