    Development and ways of implementation of the international investment project «Electric cars manufacturing in China»

    The paper analyses the current state of the economy of the People's Republic of China, the dynamics of its foreign economic relations and the factors that shape a favourable investment climate. It is established that the PRC holds a leading position in the global production and consumption of electric vehicles; the State consistently supports the industry through tax incentives, development of charging station infrastructure and green mobility programmes. On this basis, the feasibility of establishing a 100% foreignowned enterprise (WFOE) in Guangdong province, which provides access to a strong cluster of suppliers and a large sales market, is substantiated. The study includes an assessment of macroeconomic and industry indicators, analysis of legal requirements for foreign investors, development of a detailed business plan, identification of capital and operating expenditure needs, description of logistics and technological solutions, and identification of possible project risks. The efficiency of investments is checked through a system of indicators (NPV, IRR, discounted payback period), taking into account tax and inflationary assumptions. Ways to minimise financial and regulatory risks are proposed, in particular through the localisation of key components and the use of government incentives for new energy vehicles.
