This thesis examines strategies for developing and implementing an international
investment project aimed at establishing a vertical farming and agrotech company in Italy.
The study evaluates the relevant economic trends of the Italian economy, its role and
position in the global business landscape, and the investment project's economic
attractiveness. A mixed-methods approach was used to conduct this study, including a
literature review, a survey, and a financial analysis. The results show significant potential
for investment in such projects in the Italian market due to favorable conditions for the
agricultural industry, including lower taxes and strong growth potential. The study
provides actionable information for decision-makers and industry professionals,
highlighting the opportunities and challenges in the agricultural sector, thereby
contributing to the growth of the sector.
