dc.description.abstract	The thesis analyses the main macroeconoic indicators and development trends of the Portuguese economy over the last years. The main structural trends in the economy of Portugal and the main drivers of economic growth are considered. The fectures of the service sector in Portugal and its contribution to the economic growth are studied. The main trends in international trade of Portugal are researched. The analysis of investment climate and the international investment position of Portugal are completed. The business climate in the country and its attractiveness to international investors are researched. The concept of international investment project “Opening a hotel complex in Portugal” is developed. The investments and the sources of their involvement, as well as costs and purchases are substantiated. The investment performance of the international project is realised.
