dc.description.abstractThis thesis presents a comprehensive analysis of the economic situation and trends in Ghana in relation to foreign economic activities, with a particular focus on the agribusiness sector. The thesis begins with a literature review of the Ghanaian economy, highlighting its strengths and weaknesses, and exploring the various foreign economic activities that have taken place in the country followed by an in-depth analysis of the agribusiness sector. The study then focuses on the Ahafo region of Ghana, where the poultry industry is identified as a potential investment opportunity for international investors. The thesis provides a detailed analysis of the poultry industry in Ahafo, including an overview of the market, an examination of the production process, and an evaluation of the economic attractiveness of investing in the industry. Based on this analysis, the calculations of the need for investment resources are given, the organizational and legal form of the created enterprise is substantiated, as well as the calculations of the main indicators that made it possible to evaluate the investment attractiveness of the proposed project.
