Assessment of opportunities and pathways for cooperation between Ukraine and international integration associations: the case of ASEAN Qualification thesis is devoted to the theoretical foundations and principles of economic integration and ways of forming and functioning of international integration associations. The stages of international integration processes are analyzed. The thesis defines the prerequisites for the participation of states in integration processes and characterizes the main integration groupings of the world. The peculiarities of the integration processes in Southeast Asia are described, in particular, the «ASEAN WAY» is considered, which played a significant role in the success of regional integration. The qualification thesis had main stages of the development of the studied union and the circumstances that prevented the economic integration of the participating countries at the initial stage were analyzed. The main principles of ASEAN work, which are enshrined in the Bangkok Declaration of 1967 and the ASEAN Charter of 2007, are defined. The main instruments and mechanisms of economic integration of countries are analyzed, namely: the agreement on the formation of a preferential trade zone, the agreement on the creation of a free trade area (AFTA), the framework agreement on the ASEAN investment zone (AIA), industrial cooperation schemes (AICO), the ASEAN framework agreement with services (AFAS). The qualification thesis provides an assessment of the main macroeconomic indicators of the participating countries and the union as a whole: GDP volumes in dynamics, the structure and dynamics of trade relations, the commodity and geographical structure of the trade operations. Ways of cooperation of third countries with integration association are defined. The current state of political and economic cooperation between Ukraine and ASEAN was studied, including the volume of export-import operations in terms of the geographical and product structure. Prospective directions for the development of economic cooperation between our state and the Association have been established, ways aimed at improving and deepening economic cooperationhave been proposed. Economic indicators have been determined that will testify to the effectiveness of the implementation of these measures.

Оцінка можливостей та шляхів співпраці України і міжнародних інтеграційних об'єднань на прикладі АСЕАН Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена теоретичним основам і принципам економічної інтеграції та шляхам формування і функціонування міжнародних інтеграційних об’єднань. Проаналізовано етапи розвитку міжнародних інтеграційних процесів. У роботі визначено передумови для участі держав в інтеграційних процесах та охарактеризовано основні інтеграційні угрупування світу. Описано особливості інтеграційних процесів у Південно-Східній Азії, зокрема розглянуто «Шлях АСЕАН», який відіграв значну роль в успіху регіональної інтеграції. У кваліфікаційні роботі проаналізовано основні етапи розвитку Асоціації та причини, які перешкоджали економічній інтеграції країнучасниць на початковому етапі. Визначено головні принципи роботи АСЕАН, які закріплені у Бангкокській декларації 1967 року та Статуті (Хартії) АСЕАН 2007 року. Досліджено основні інструменти та механізми економічної інтеграції країн, а саме: угоду про формування зони преференційної торгівлі, угоду про створення зони вільної торгівлі (АФТА), рамкову угоди про зону інвестицій АСЕАН (АІА), схеми промислового співробітництва (АІКО), рамкову угоду АСЕАН з послуг (AFAS). У роботі здійснено оцінку основним макроекономічним показникам об’єднання: розмір ВВП у динаміці, географічну та товарну структуру торгівельних операцій. Визначено шляхи співпраці третіх країн з інтеграційним угрупуванням. Досліджено поточний стан політичного та економічного співробітництва України та АСЕАН, в тому числі об’єми експортно-імпортних операцій у розрізі географічної та товарної структури. Встановлено перспективні напрями для розвитку економічної співпраці між нашою державою та Асоціацією, запропоновано шляхи спрямовані на покращення та поглиблення економічної взаємодії. Визначено економічні показники, які свідчитимуть про ефективність реалізації цих заходів.
