The thesis is devoted to the study of trade wars in the modern world context. The work examines the prerequisites and causes of the emergence of trade wars in the world economy, includes an analysis of the concept and classification of trade wars, considers the factors contributing to their occurrence, as well as the methods of their conduct. Special attention is paid to the evolution of trade wars and the practice of conducting them in the global economy. Modern examples of international trade wars are considered. The trade war between the United States of America and China is analyzed in detail. The work is designed to provide a deep understanding of the phenomenon of trade wars, their impact on the world economy, as well as to identify possible ways of solving and countering this phenomenon.
