Current economic challenges and growth opportunities for Denmark are examined in the context of a dynamic global environment. The study further explores Denmark’s role in international economic relations, focusing on the analysis of export-import activity, including its commodity composition and geographical structure. An assessment of the opportunities and threats that Denmark faces in the sphere of international economic engagement is provided. Additionally, the paper evaluates Denmark’s investment attractiveness for foreign investors, supported by an analysis of relevant economic, legal, and infrastructural conditions. Based on this evaluation, the study proposes an international investment project for implementation in Denmark – a factory producing energy-efficient building materials. The project's goals, forms of investment, estimated capital requirements, and competitive advantages are detailed. The research analyses the economic, demographic, and institutional characteristics that shape the country's investment environment, especially in light of macroeconomic stability, EU integration, and dynamic urban development. The Czech Republic's consistent GDP growth, low unemployment, and well-developed infrastructure position it as a competitive real estate market in Central Europe. Brno, one of the country’s leading academic cities, has been selected as the location for the investment project due to growing demand for student accommodation and its favourable cost-performance ratio. In the final part of the thesis, we developed a practical investment plan, including budget estimation and financial projections. The dynamics of foreign direct investment, the structure of the tourist flow and the competitive environment of the hotel market are studied; The stable demand for high-quality accommodation facilities, especially in the business and environmental segments, is substantiated. An international investment project has been proposed to create a 50-room energy-efficient hotel in the Turku region. Marketing, technical and organizational development of the concept was carried out, an estimate of capital expenditures was formed, a financing structure and an operating model were developed financial feasibility is assessed through NPV, IRR, payback periods, and sensitive analysis; A risk management package and recommendations for the use of grant programs and tax incentives for green buildings have been developed. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of applying the proposed solutions to attract foreign capital to the hotel sector in Finland in order to form a roadmap for the implementation of the project in the context of post-pandemic tourism growth.Документ DEVELOPMENT AND WAYS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT PROJECT “BUSINESS APP DEVELOPMENT FOR BUREAUCRACY REDUCTION” IN SLOVAKIA(2025) Sofiia MarkovaThe aim of this work is to analyse the economy of Slovakia, to assess its investment climate and key barriers to doing business, to develop an international investment project to create a digital application to reduce bureaucracy in the country, and to perform all necessary financial calculations to make an investment decision. The macroeconomic situation in Slovakia was investigated, GDP dynamics, inflation, foreign investment and government policy in the field of digitalisation. Based on the analysis, the country's strengths (favourable geographical location, EU membership, stable GDP growth, support for start-ups and digital initiatives) as well as its weaknesses (high administrative burden on business, energy dependence and ageing population) were identified. In addition, current digital programmes implemented in Slovakia were reviewed and a SWOT - analysis of the investment environment was conducted. The concept of an SME application assistant with automatic reporting, tax calculator, integration with legal services and artificial intelligence support is proposed. The competitive environment in the government market is separately analysed and it is found that there is a lack of such solutions. The research also evaluates global opportunities and threats influencing South Korea’s economic positioning and its investment attractiveness for foreign investors, particularly in the growing eco-friendly sector. The core of the study is dedicated to the design of the e-commerce project, including market research, legal frameworks, investment models, and financial calculations. A methodology for assessing the investment attractiveness of the project is developed based on market demand, sustainability trends, regulatory environment, and potential return on investment. Focus is placed on furniture industry growth trends, demand drivers and sustainability needs. The analysis focuses on economic and demographic factors within Canada, including positive attributes like a strong political, economic environment, high household income, the willingness of Canada to accept foreign investment. The Canadian furniture market framework and potential were examined, and Toronto and other urban centers were identified as the most suitable marketplaces for business development. The thesis also learns consumer preference for eco-friendly and personalized furniture products. This work features a complete business plan investment rationale-market research, competitive analysis, investment budget, funding structure, and three-year projected finances. The project plan includes site selection, staffing, operational costs, and marketing strategy. Key financial indicators such as NPV, PP, and PI are calculated to evaluate the project’s profitability. The results show that the project is economically worth with a reasonable payback period.
