International experience of hotel business development and its significance for Ukraine
Анотація
This paper investigates the international development of the hotel business and its implications for Ukraine. It examines global trends in the hotel industry, including the growth of international hotel chains, their impact on economies and how these can be adapted to the Ukrainian context. The state of the hotel industry in Ukraine is also analyzed. The study identifies international best practices and assesses their applicability to Ukraine. Using a mixed-methods approach, it offers insights into the integration of global best practices into Ukraine's hotel industry. The research finds that Ukraine's hotel business, while facing challenges, has significant potential for growth by adopting international strategies, mainly they are made for implementing these practices in Ukraine to enhance its economic development and tourism competitiveness. Recommendations focus on implementing digital innovations, adopting sustainable practices, enhancing staff training, and advocating for supportive government policies. The thesis contributes valuable insights for stakeholders in Ukraine's hotel industry and offers a foundation for future research in this area.
