Adaptation of the international experience of e-commerce development to the conditions of Ukraine

У цій дипломній роботі розглянута та досліджена сфера електронної комерції з особливим акцентом на тому, як світові практики можуть бути застосовані до конкретних обставин України. Вступний розділ визначає важливість цього дослідження в контексті сучасної глобальної економіки. Він забезпечує потужну теоретичну та методологічну основу, вивчаючи природу, еволюцію та вплив електронної комерції. Крім того, в цому розділі проаналізовано міжнародне зростання електронної комерції в розвинутих економіках. У другому розділі проаналізований стан електронної комерції в Україні за останні декілька років. Критично оцінено можливості застосування міжнародного досвіду в Україні, включаючи культурні, економічні та регуляторні параметри. Такоє, у розділі роз’яснені поточні перешкоди та передбачені потенційні перспективи розвитку електронної комерції в Україні. Останній розділ містить аналіз зміни стану електронної комерції під час війни, зміну трендів, методів та мінливі вимоги онлайн-споживачів у складних обставинах. Надано практичні рекомендації щодо впровадження отриманих результатів для сприяння розвитку електронної комерції в Україні. На основі цих данних були запропонована модель та зроблені прогноз-розрахунки для підвищення прибутку онлайн компанії "COSMIC " за допомогою імплементації однієї з міжнародних практик.
American experience of hotel business development and its significance for Ukraine.

The study of the current state and trends in the hotel business in America. It was found that the hotel business in America is the largest and most developed in the world. It is closely connected with the development of the tourism industry in general, and an integral part of each other's development. It was also found that the structure of the hotel business is dominated by hotel chains, which set the direction of development of the entire industry. Collected data of modern standards for hotels and tools for development in the modern world. Thanks to the stability of Ukraine's economy and the chosen vector of development in recent years, this has led to the intensification of business and the interest of international tourists. At the same time, the unsatisfactory state of the hotel business in Ukraine and the need for changes in many components of the industry were revealed. It is proposed to use the experience of the hotel and tourism industry of America.
Analysis and evaluation of e-Commerce market and its place in the economy of U.S.

The aim this master thesis is to look in to the different sectors of e-commerce in the global market, while also indicating why and how it works. The author has considered advantages and disadvantages of e-commerce as a method of trading. As an object of the research, the economy of the U.S, has selected since the United Stated is the biggest and powerful economy in the world and also because E-Commerce market started in there. The first chapter of thesis is devoted to the theoretical questions related to e-commerce: history of its emergence, types, features, etc. Since e-commerce is comprised of retail and whole sales of goods and services, in chapter 2 of this thesis there will be given more detailed explanation of what e-commerce is, e.g., market behavior, market segment, market analysis and the internet payment system of U.S (Digital Payments). Chapter three will introduce Amazon company, the biggest E-Platform in the United States, and give some recommendations regarding its possible performance improvements and increase in gains.
Analysis and evaluation of the e-commerce market and its place in the South Korean economy

This paper assesses the position help by the e-commerce market in South Korea’s economy, showing different trends for the past 10 years. This thesis was able to highlight the place South Korea’s economy holds as well as what e-commerce brings to economy. The different aspects shown in the paper show different stages in which the economy went through as well as the changes that happened in the e-commerce market making it what it is today. South Korea is a successful economy that keeps on growing and changing, the e-commerce market is a major contributor to that success. The data regarding the current state of e-commerce in South Korea showed how impactful it has been to the economy of South Korea. However, it also went on to show that there are aspects that need improvement even through currently everything is heading towards the right direction.
Analysis of the International E-commerce’s Market Experience Implemented in Ukraine’s E-commerce Market

This master's thesis will investigate the various areas of e-commerce in the Ukrainian market, as well as explain why and how they work. The first chapter of the thesis is devoted to theoretical issues concerning e-commerce, such as its history, types, and features. Because e-commerce includes both retail and wholesale goods and services, the first chapter of this thesis will provide a more complete description of what e-commerce is, including topics such as market behaviour, market segmentation, market analysis, and the internet payment system. In the second chapter, we will introduce the company as a subject of the research and also we will analyse the performance and impact of the innovations which were implemented in the researched company. In chapter three we will give some recommendations regarding its possible performance based on three scenarios.
ANALYSIS OF TRANSNATIONAL CORPORATIONS IN THE WORLD COMMODITY MARKET ON THE EXAMPLE OF SAMSUNG COMPANY

The paper examines the role of transnational corporations in the current economic system and their influence on the world commodity market. Transnational firms are crucial to the creation of new technologies and innovative activities at the current stage of economic development. The fact that transnational corporations are specifically the sources of the creation of most technological innovations and that they are most heavily involved in research and development works, which are then presented on the commodity markets, can be used to explain the large-scale impact of the corporation's activities. In this paper, Samsung was taken as an example of a transnational corporation. An analysis was made of the company's competitiveness in the commodity market, the financial and economic condition of the company, as well as the investment attractiveness of the company. Also, an analysis was carried out and recommendations were given to improve the company's position in the commodity market
Circular Economy performance of the EU countries

The paper analyzes the current state of the Circular Economy and the performance that the EU economy and individual EU countries can achieve applying the principles of circular economy, and also to point out the importance of waste management as a foundation for the successful transition towards CE. It is revealed that the benefits of the new economic model are reflected in increased resource productivity, reduced environmental impact, reduced dependence on imported raw materials, job creation, increased economic competitiveness thus fostering sustainable economic growth. A systematic analysis and comparison of the EU countries was performed to benchmark performance, foster policy learning and to help designing future perspectives towards a CE. Based on the examples from European countries strategies, which are focused on the economic shift towards CE, was noticed that every strategy on their beginning starts with methods of waste management. That is why, this paper aims to point out, the importance of the implementation of waste management method of separate municipal solid waste collection in Ukraine. The calculations represent an increase in the share of extraction of secondary raw materials from the applied method, that in its turn able to reduce the environmental burden by returning resources to economic circulation, that previously had a negative impact on the environment.
Directions for increasing the competitiveness of Ukrainian goods and services in the world market

The international competitiveness of Ukraine in the global economy was examined. The work's goal is to examine Ukraine's competitiveness in the global economy. The concept of macroeconomic and institutional elements affecting Ukraine's competitiveness is presented. It has been established that a strong state with an established and developed market and industry structure, high commercial activity of entrepreneurs, qualified professionals, and advanced scientific capacity is the primary requirement for obtaining a high degree of competitiveness for a country. The characteristics of the Ukrainian economy and its role in the worldwide global environment have been defined based on an analysis of global competitiveness ratings. The macroeconomic and institutional factors that are boosting Ukraine's global competitiveness have been revealed. It was discovered that political instability and technological backwardness are linked to Ukraine's declining competitiveness in international rankings. As a result, one of the most significant objectives of the Ukrainian government is to find measures to improve the country's competitiveness in the global economy. In order for the national economy to reach a new level of development and international competitiveness, it was proposed that the issue of "digital divide" and unequal Internet access be addressed, as well as economic transformation and the effective use of the country's innovative development potential.
Effect of financial deepening on economic growth in Kenya

The master’s thesis is devoted to the consideration of the relation between the financial deepening and economic growth. The theoretical approaches to assessing the impact of the financial sector on economic growth are presented. The concept of financial deepening in the system of financial market indicators is considered. The effect of financial deepening on economic growth is studied. The research deal with the main indicators of economic growth and the characteristics of the financial sector development in Kenya. It is completed the assessment of the financial deepening in Kenya. It is proved that the financial deepening has an impact on the economy. The analyzing the effect of financial deepening on economic growth in Kenya allowed us to consider that the financial services industry is being restructured by the ever-changing consumer needs, innovative financial products, technological advancement and the use of multiple delivery channels. The main directions for the development of the financial sector in Kenya in the context of stimulating of financial deepening and economic growth are focused on the main growth channels: rural households transition away from farming; a modern technology-led services sector grows.
Ghana’s Foreign Direct Investment inflow and the impacts on Real GDP Growth

The heightened competition to attract FDI inflows into developing and transition economies especially in Sub-Saharan Africa has spawned debate among Economists pertaining to the relevance of FDI in stimulating economic growth (Agrawal, G. and Khan, M.A. (2011)). This study seeks to assess the impact of FDI inflows into Ghana on real GDP growth. Data spanning a period of 20 years (2000 to 2019) from UNCTAD, World Bank, GIPC, and Bank of Ghana are used. Additionally, the literature review in this research was made possible by the availability of both local and international journal articles. The author employs two strands of related statistical methods to predict the level of correlation between FDI and real GDP growth. The coefficients of correlation by Pearson’s r and Spearman’s rho indicate that the nexus between Ghana’s FDI and Real GDP growth from 2000 to 2019 is very weak. The study advanced that FDI inflow into the country can be harnessed to prepare adequately for the fourth industrial revolution; develop an economic cluster by drawing worthy lessons from the USA’s Silicon Valley, and to mitigate all forms of environmental nuisances. Finally, it recommends that studies be conducted to investigate the connection between outflow of FDI and GDP growth in Ghana since there is lack of empirical evidence on it.
Globalization of the economy through franchising as an effective tool for expanding business

У ході дослідження було вивчено теоретичні особливості франчайзингу та встановлено його вирішальну значущість у процесі глобалізації економічних взаємодій. Ми досліджували наукові підходи до поняття франчайзингу та його історичну еволюцію. В рамках дослідження було систематизовано різні види франчайзингу та зв'язків, а також підкреслено роль франчайзингу у стратегічному зростанні мережевої компанії на глобальному рівні. Проведено глобальне дослідження успішності франчайзингу з прикладу міжнародної фірми KFC. Обговорюються переваги франчайзингу з прикладу KFC, розробляються критерії потенційних франчайзі. Оцінено конкурентоспроможність та потенціал KFC в умовах глобальної інтеграції. Було розроблено міжнародну концепцію франчайзингу з метою створення мережі ресторанів здорового харчування в європейських країнах під брендом KFC. Крім того, запропоновано концепцію та бізнес-модель розширення фірми KFC за рахунок франчайзингу. Розроблено план реалізації бізнесконцепції та визначено показники економічної ефективності інвестиційного проекту
Globalization of world production and Ukraine's participation in it

The paper analyzes the current state of globalization in the world and economic integration of Ukraine. The review of the main indicators of globalization and openness of the economy of Ukraine has been carried out; the tendencies of economic development of Ukraine during 2008-2020 have been defined. Methodological aspects of estimation of influence of globalization processes on development of economy of Ukraine have been considered. The activity of the company "Interpipe NTZ" on the basis of the analysis of indices of efficiency of foreign economic expansion has been done. The calculations show how the company's performance has changed with access to the world market.
IMPACT OF RISK PERCEPTION ON CONSUMER PATRONAGE OF MOBILE BANKING

The data collected to carry out this study were analyzed and results have been discussed. We now present the general summary of our findings. There is a strong positive relationship between ambient condition and customer patronage. This entails that as banks deliberately improve on the service environment’s ambience and the functional nature of their equipment and machines, it will increase patronage which will ultimately increase their volume of transactions, profit margin and customer retention rate. There is a strong positive relationship between physical architecture and customer patronage. Banks architectural design, spacious banking hall and car parking lodge all together may help boost patronage which will ultimately reflect on their sales volume, profit margin and customer retention. There is a strong positive relationship between signs and customer patronage. It was found that banks use signs for both implicit and explicit purposes and also for the reduction of crowding in the banking premises. It was found that there is a very strong positive relationship between organization size and physical evidence. In other words, organization size significantly moderates the influence of physical evidence on customer patronage of banks in the south-south zone of Nigeria. There is a very strong positive relationship between information technology capability of banks and customer patronage. Conversely, information technology capability moderates the influence of physical evidence on customer patronage of banks in south-south zone of Nigeria. However, from the outlined summary of finding, it is evident that the ability if banks to increase their level of customer patronage are predicated on their ability to deliberately and consistently improves on their physical/service environment better than their competitors.
Impinge of Political and Religious Leaders on Socio-Economy Outcomes

The influence of religion can never be overemphasized since there are so many religions in the world that have different beliefs and practices. This project paper focuses on the religious impact on the social and economic and political activities of the people in Nigeria. The study finds a wide range of views on religion as a social center. The paper went on to discuss the types of religions, the need for religious services, their impact on people's lives, both good and bad. We need to understand that political leadership is central to the management of Nigerian resources in developing their economy. In this regard, we will see that unsuccessful leadership is at the heart of Nigerian development and we choose that effective leadership can be used to achieve political stability and to promote national growth and development. In view of the problem of religious decline and other changing factors, this study uses a more general approach to define the relationship between religion and economic development. The results report that religion has a direct and statistically significant impact on economic development and economic growth. This further indicates that effective leadership will help reverse the national flood and slide into chaos. If all Nigerian leaders can put their effort into communicating a vision and initiating change, Nigerian political leaders should also use leadership styles that promote better productivity of workers to achieve the most desirable development in the country. In conclusion, the issues of rewards and punishments established in all societies are the values, norms, and constitution of all nations. Proposed that the government monitor the activities of religious leaders; it also reviews the action that established or governs them.
International experience of hotel business development and its significance for Ukraine

The paper examines the current state and trends of the Ukrainian economy over the past thirty years, concentrating on a sphere of services and tourism in particular. The problem of undeveloped and stagnating hotel business and tourism sectors has been investigated. The paper explores the ways and methods of solving this problem, since the service sector and this sector are key in many economically developed countries around the world, where Ukraine, unfortunately, is not included, although it has great potential for development in this direction. The role of the state in the development of tourism and hotel business, as well as ways of attracting international investors for the development of this sector of the economy, has been studied. The examples of the development of tourism and hotel business in Turkey and Georgia are studied, and conclusions are drawn regarding whether the development strategies of these countries are applicable to Ukraine.

This paper investigates the international development of the hotel business and its implications for Ukraine. It examines global trends in the hotel industry, including the growth of international hotel chains, their impact on economies and how these can be adapted to the Ukrainian context. The state of the hotel industry in Ukraine is also analyzed. The study identifies international best practices and assesses their applicability to Ukraine. Using a mixed-methods approach, it offers insights into the integration of global best practices into Ukraine's hotel industry. The research finds that Ukraine's hotel business, while facing challenges, has significant potential for growth by adopting international strategies, mainly they are made for implementing these practices in Ukraine to enhance its economic development and tourism competitiveness. Recommendations focus on implementing digital innovations, adopting sustainable practices, enhancing staff training, and advocating for supportive government policies. The thesis contributes valuable insights for stakeholders in Ukraine's hotel industry and offers a foundation for future research in this area
International social investment project: analysis and evaluation of the perspectives

The paper research examines modern trends of investment in social projects. It has been revealed that ESG trend is currently gaining popularity among investors around the world. The goals of social investments correspond to the current challenges faced by absolutely all countries of the world. As in most countries, in Ukraine there is a public’s request to restore equality for all members of society. It creates favourable conditions for investing in social projects. In the work the author developed an international investment project to create a day-care centre for pre-schoolers, including children with disabilities, in Ukraine at the expense of international investors, grant or fundraising. The calculations of the needs for investment resources are given, the organizational and legal form of the created enterprise is substantiated, as well as calculations of the main indicators to evaluate the investment attractiveness of the proposed project.
International trade wars in modern economic relations

The work examines the prerequisites and causes of the emergence of trade wars in the world economy, includes an analysis of the concept and classification of trade wars, considers the factors contributing to their occurrence, as well as the methods of their conduct. Special attention is paid to the evolution of trade wars and the practice of conducting them in the global economy. Modern examples of international trade wars are considered. The trade war between the United States of America and China is analyzed in detail. The work is designed to provide a deep understanding of the phenomenon of trade wars, their impact on the world economy, as well as to identify possible ways of solving and countering this phenomenon.

This thesis investigates the internationalization of corporate finance in the European Union (EU), focusing on its role in fostering financial integration and enhancing global competitiveness. The research evaluates key initiatives, such as the Capital Markets Union (CMU) and the adoption of the euro, while identifying persistent challenges, including regulatory fragmentation, tax disparities, and the EU’s reliance on a bank-centered financial model. A mixed-methods approach – encompassing policy analysis, comparative studies, and strategic scenario planning – was applied to assess these dynamics. The findings highlight the need for harmonized regulations, enhanced access to capital markets, and digital finance adoption to support innovation-driven sectors and small and mediumsized enterprises. The study provides strategic recommendations to address these challenges, offering valuable insights for policymakers, financial institutions, and enterprises to build a unified and competitive EU financial system.
OIL RESOURCE WEALTH: IMPACTS ON NIGERIA’S ECONOMIC GROWTH

In this paper we analyze the studies on natural resource and how its ampleness has proven that countries rich in resource tend to not perform great in terms of economic growth; an enigma which is known as the ‘resource curse’. Much of the research uses econometric figures to assume the economic performance of a collection of countries rich in resource. Therefore, we build on earlier literatures to consider the effectiveness of resource wealth on Nigeria’s economic growth as a case study. We will be examining the channels through which resource curse infiltrates, and latest surveys that tests for impact in a cross-country setting. Our reflection of earlier claims and correlation tests shows that oil resource wealth affects growth negatively. Using expenditure figures as measure of human capital accumulation, a downward trend in budgetary quota is visible compared to administrative expenditure and debt stock. Secondly, increasing natural resource simultaneously attracts more foreign direct investment than traded sectors. Thirdly, in trade barter terms, commodity exports indicate heavy reliance on primary commodities (agriculture and fuels) making the economy prone to price fluctuation. We document a volatile real exchange rate (appreciating and depreciating) when oil price/revenue adjusts. Finally, we test for institutional analysis and record considerable negative impact evidenced in recent growth performances due to the system’s corruption, instability and institutional inefficiency.
