Анотація
The phenomenon of complementarity in the system of professional education for teaching future
managers of health-oriented management is grounded. The interpretation of the definition of “complementarity” in pedagogical science is analyzed. The basic aspects of complementarity in the content of
health-oriented professional education of future managers are highlighted. The inter-scientific context
of complementarity is clarified. Pedagogical concepts of complementarity, which will be effective for
creating the technology of formation of health-oriented management skills of future managers, are
identified.
We define the term «complementarity of the technology of forming the readiness of future managers’ to create a health-oriented environment in the organization” as an opportunity of full representation
of basic knowledge about health-preservation in the content of their professional education by structuring
organizational and pedagogical conditions, supplementing and complementing the content. Complementary learning of health-oriented management is defined by us as the process of socio-cultural formation of
future managers’ readiness to create a health-oriented environment in the organization.
It is declared that the fundamental novelty and importance of complementarity in the content of
professional education of students-managers is conditioned by their knowledge and reflection in their
minds of a completely different management paradigm – the paradigm of socio-cultural practice of healthoriented management. It is about the possibility of practical implementation of complementarity, which
will enrich the traditional technology of professional education of students-managers and will allow them
to re-think the main meaning of their profession – from “management to improve the economy” to “management for the people, who implement economic processes.”
